This morning your Uprise Travel driver and guide will pick you up and drive west to kick off the day with your Mole National Park safari. Mole National Park is Ghana’s most biodiverse ecotourism destination. Here you will enjoy a three-hour driving safari that will take you deep into the park to search for elephants, baboons, monkeys, buffalo, antelope, hartebeest, and much more.
After your experience at Mole National Park, you will return back to the city of Tamale for your Tamale city tour. Here you will visit the Central Mosque, the main prayer center for the city’s Muslim majority. You will then visit the local leather factory, where you will learn about how animal skins are processed into goods such as belts, shoes, bags, and drums. Finally, you will learn about the tradition and skills of bargaining as you shop for souvenirs at the Tamale Cultural Centre and observe daily life in Tamale at the Tamale Central Market.
